Next Friday, September 25th, join us at Peabody Heights Brewery and meet fellow postdocs at our union’s happy hour and social!
The members of our elected Bargaining Committee have been working hard to improve working conditions for all postdocs at JHU by strengthening protections around our job security, workload, and how we handle things like harassment and discrimination. But, all work and no play makes for a dull contract! We figured this is a GREAT time to hear back from our community of postdocs about our needs, wants, and desires when it comes to winning our first contract. Plus, it’s a great way to meet one another, and celebrate all of the wins that have gotten us to where we are!
Whether you’ve been at Hopkins for a week, or long enough to be a budding Research Associate/Scientist, we hope to see you next Friday starting at 5PM to discuss how we can make JHU the best place in the country for postdocs to work. Friends and family are welcome, and there’s an arcade inside of the brewery for those interested.
